The Organizing Committee for the 2nd International Conference on Environment, Social, Governance and Sustainable Development of Africa (ICESDA 2025) is thrilled to announce the official launch of its Call for Abstracts and Full Papers!
Set against the backdrop of critical global and continental challenges, ICESDA 2025 invites scholars, policymakers, industry leaders, and practitioners to contribute their research and insights to this premier event in Accra, Ghana. The conference is a joint academic-industry initiative focused on accelerating Africa’s development through responsible business practices.

“FROM CRADLE TO CRADLE: PUTTING ESG AND SUSTAINABILITY FIRST IN AFRICA’S GREEN TRANSITION EFFORT.”
We seek contributions that explore innovative solutions, robust frameworks, and impactful case studies related to ESG, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and the successful delivery of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) across the African continent. Event Details
The ICESDA 2025 Conference will be held as a hybrid event (In-Person and Virtual) at the GIMPA Executive Conference Center in Accra, Ghana, from October 23-24, 2025. A dedicated PhD/Doctoral Workshop will also take place on October 22, 2025.
